Day-1 Month Inventory Report, produced 12 September 2026, covering Days 1–11 of September 2026. Each cell is the percent of that station's 1-minute records received for that day;
C means 100%. This is a live monthly snapshot the report re-issues as the month progresses, not a continuous archive-availability record. It was supplied directly rather than downloaded by this build.
Historical 2013 gap: stations marked "2013 gap" appear in Appendix B of the AERMINUTE User's Guide, which lists
253 ASOS stations missing 1-minute data for June–December 2013. That flag is independent of the snapshot above it: a station can show 100% in this month's data and still carry a documented six-month hole in 2013. Station identity and coordinates come from the NOAA ISD station history (
isd-history.csv), matched by ICAO identifier.
800 of 801 stations in the report matched;
KXWA did not appear in the ISD history file under that ICAO code and is excluded here.
What this map does not show: continuous archive coverage between 2014 and today. NCEI's bulk
asos-onemin archive folders stop at 2022, and the only ongoing record is a long, irregular series of dated inventory snapshots in NCEI's
Inventory directory, each covering a different, non-overlapping window. Building a true multi-year completeness picture means fetching and reconciling dozens of those files rather than one. That has not been done here; treat this map as two things layered together, a known historical defect and a current snapshot, not a full history. Presence in this inventory does not mean the station's 1-minute data are otherwise suitable for AERMINUTE. Confirm variables and period of record in the station's own data file before use.
